Reddit is Improving Engagement with Image Options

Approximately 1,500 subreddits in Reddit's app now have images in comments as a new engagement option.

Subreddits can now turn on image posting within comment threads, allowing people to interact and share within these communities in a new way. In July, Reddit also enabled GIFs in selected subreddits.

In addition to facilitating interaction within Reddit's highly active chat threads, it also adds context to discussions.

Although not all communities will be able to access it. The feature is only available to selected, approved subreddits at the moment, and images that are deemed inappropriate for work will be automatically removed.
